My name is Christopher Hamilton, and I am 18 years old. I first had the idea I wanted to start a film company when I was about 16. Since then I have slowly started to build on the base idea I had. It seems a long time ago, and things have come so far from where I started.
So with introductions aside here's a little about myself. I have lived pretty much my entire life on a small farm in the middle of the scenic Willamette Valley, Oregon. Current film experience doesn’t amount to much: an extra as a monk in a play, a couple lead roles in two 5 minute skits, and some training as a stuntman…(not very much really). However, I have found GOD likes us to start out small and grow bigger, which is the path I have been moving on for pretty much everything. I participated in 4-H for a long time, but it was in my second to last year that I learned an important lesson; "You get out of something, what you put into it." This lesson has stuck with me since I learned it 3 years ago and have transferred it into working within the film industry.
For about three years, I worked as a volunteer AWANA leader, which was an amazing experience. It was also through AWANA that I got to start working with Child Evangelism Fellowship, an international group that focuses on reaching out to children. I have now worked with them 3 years as well. I was also blessed in 2014 and 2015 to participate in the Bible Bee, a Bible Discipleship contest/program, I ended up learning a lot about GOD through a study of the books Jonah and Ruth. During this time, I was part of a growing church plant meeting in Lebanon OR. I have enjoyed running sound and recording the sermons for Cornerstone Bible Church.
Looking into the future seems pretty exciting, but I have to remind myself GOD'S plans may not line up with mine. However, I still have hope and dreams. For the close future, I am looking to finish my final year of high school. Looking into the end of 2016, and beyond; I hope to continue to work on this site, and also hope to start some internships.
Soli Deo Gloria
