"I hope to set a new standard for Christian Film. The heroic efforts that a lot of Christian Film Companies have made in the film industry are commendable. Though I do commend them for their effort, I feel it is time to move onward, hardening Biblical values and convection within the companies; and also in the films they make. It is in an attempt to further the efforts that others have started before me, that I created One Foundation Films. I chose this as a name because I want to build on One Foundation. Namely, GOD's, and that includes building on GOD's word. As a result the goal of O.F.F.'s is very simple and clear-cut." Our goal is to provide a Christian film company that stands on God's word, creating an alternative to films, and film companies that are not based on God's Word, while bringing glory to God.
While the goal is clear-cut the guide lines to reaching that goal are hard-core. In order to help us bring glory to God, these are the guidelines that I have felt led to build. We will take immodesty on and off set VERY seriously, if there is ANY potential that it will distract from GOD and draw attraction to the actor, then it will NOT be used. We want the people to focus on GOD, not how a person looks. That said, we will not throw talent out because it "distracts from GOD", on the contrary, having that talent will provide a way of telling people; look at how GOD provides people with talent. Also there will be; NO swearing: Ephesians 4:29 (ESV) "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear." We will avoid being gory with our fight scenes, we want make films that glorify GOD, and as gore will be a distraction from that glory it will not be presented. Prayerfully, rating systems can only rate our films "PG-13" for "intense Action scenes/discussions" (discussions being day-to-day problems /talk about Christ). There will also be a Gospel application in each film, as well as a Gospel Presentation (like the wordless book) as a "Special Feature" in all O.F.F. Productions. You may think that O.F.F. has strict guidelines, well we do. In my view, we are in a war, with people's eternal lives at stake. Any crossing over or redrawing of lines could result in a catastrophic end to our mission. As soon as lines are redrawn, O.F.F. has lost a battle, and possibly the war. Because once the lines are redrawn, they would then be redrawn again and again until O.F.F. really is no different from the companies we set out to be different from.
